I have always been a lover of jewelry. I think its because growing up there were no real size inclusive clothing stores for teenagers so I had to improvise and make the most of the jewelry they had to offer. When shopping with friends I would try and mask my disappointment about not fitting into typical mall brands by heading to the accesory area. I ended up having the best jewelry selection and realized that wearing it could alter a simple outfit.
Anyway, now I’m very thankful that more stores have decided to become size inclusive, even if they were a little late to the party. I still hold my earrings/accessory close to my heart and like to invest in a few quality statement pieces every season. Here are a few pairs I’ve got my eyes on!
1. These cheetah print earrings are great for if you’re just stepping into the statement earring. They are in a print most people are comfortable with and not too over the top. A gateway earring if you will.
2.I love these earrings from Noonday! Noonday is also one of my favorite online stores to purchase from. They employ artisans from all of over the world to hep create and manufacture their jewelry. I had the pleasure of visiting their location in Uganda and it was an amazing experience hearing the stories of the men and women who had a second chance at life because of this company! It also doesn’t hurt that these earrings are red and pink, which are one of my most loved color combinations.
3.These geometric earrings in a beautiful mauve color are #chefskiss. Another pair from Noonday!! I would buy their entire jewelry section if I could.
4.These blue floral earrings are a splurge but would be a great investment piece. I could see them being paired well with a white or yellow dress or with an black skinny jeans and a simple top.
5.Another pair of gorgeous earrings, except that these are made by an artist who is local to Baton Rouge. The purple part of these earrings are ceramic and the pattern is made with his own handmade stamp. How cool!
6.These earrings are another investment piece but how gorgeous are they? They are from Nicola Bathie an influencer I recently began to follow. Her aesthetic is traditional and feminine. Her home, style, and jewelry all reflect this aesthetic and it is quite mesmerizing to see.
7.You guessed it, another Noonday find! I told y’all I really liked this company. These geometric earrings are hypnotizing and they remind me of the beats by Dre logo for some reason.
I hope this inspires you to up your earring game! Enjoy!
